KIRISTA HOWARD-BARTON APPOINTED TO ABNB BOARD
ABNB Federal Credit Union's Board of Directors has appointed Kirista Howard-Barton to serve as a member of the board effective immediately. Prior to her Board appointment, Howard-Barton served on ABNB’s Supervisory Committee for two years. “I would like to extend a warm welcome to Kirista and congratulate her on this appointment,” stated Marvin Brangan, Chairman of the Board of Directors. “Mrs. Howard-Barton has been a dedicated volunteer for many years, and I am confident that she will continue to make valuable contributions to the credit union. As a Board, collectively we very excited about our future, where we’re headed, and we promise to remain keenly focused on improving our members’ financial lives,” concluded Brangan.
Howard-Barton previously worked for Astoria Federal Credit Union and other financial institutions over a four-year period. She was also an international flight attendant for Continental Airlines for almost 10 years. She received her bachelor’s degree in science from Old Dominion University and is currently completing a degree in Molecular Diagnostic Medicine at EVMS in 2025.
