ABNB’S VICTORIA BARTELME RECEIVES CERTIFIED FRAUD EXAMINER CREDENTIAL

Victoria Bartelme, a Fraud Analyst in the Risk Management department at the credit union, recently received her Certified Fraud Examiner credential. This credential means that she has passed the many rigorous requirements and tests related to financial transactions, fraud schemes, investigations, fraud prevention and deterrence.

Bartelme has been an employee at ABNB for three years and previously worked as a Member Service Representative at its Yorktown location.

“Ms. Bartelme is an employee dedicated to fraud detection and prevention. She determined early in her career she would obtain her CFE credential by completing the training and extensive testing,” stated Elizabeth Bailey, Fraud Manager. “The knowledge Ms. Bartelme gained from this certification enables her to conduct detailed fraud investigations and provides for a thorough understanding of the causes and necessary responses related to fraud. The skills and experience gained from this certification process make Ms. Bartelme a valued asset to the Fraud Team, ABNB, and helps protect our members,” concluded Bailey.
